Gentlemen,

This is a genuine appeal and i welcome any enquiries should you wish to make them.

I obtained this flat on condition that i did the job of caretaker of 16 flats, but one day after 6 months work which was very strenuous I collapsed and taken to hospital

One never knows what might happen and i would like to have a little behind me in case anything happens to me.

Finally I can assure you gentlemen that if i am fortunate in getting a grant well, you will be the means of making an old couple very happy.

I have the Honour

Sirs,

To be your obedient Servant.

(Sgd.) Alfred Allison.

My friend has typed this for me.
